Military Aircraft Surplus
Military Aircraft Surplus is one of my favorite military items to collect. It doesn’t matter if the surplus is from a World War II plane, the Vietnam War, or present day. Military aircraft surplus, especially US and Russian aircraft surplus is the best to find. They hold their value and look a lot nicer than the 3rd world military items.
With military aircraft surplus, you’ll find ammunition and other items of interest. Sometimes you’re able to dig around the aircraft “graveyards” and look for stuff yourself. I’ve found old dusty military log books, flight maps, routes to raids, and more. Some of which I’m sure isn’t supposed to be found. But, look under seats when you’re going through the aircraft, you may be lucky!

What type of Aircraft Surplus
There are many types of surplus when it comes to airplanes. Not only in model, but in mission designation, amphibious, naval, land based. Then the type of plane can be a fighter, bomber, and so on. Here is a short breakdown, not all is available for military aircraft surplus though.

Wherever find military aircraft surplus, you’re sure to also find some ammunition, probably not live. But you’ll find casing’s, shells, expended projectiles, powder cans. The Navy ships have some impressive military weapons surplus. Both the Army and Marines pack some heavy, large surplus items too. Especially coming from the Brigades of today, that pack the heat.
