The military has many types of Military surplus boots that they offload to the various surplus stores. Depending on what branch they are from, you’ll find a wide assortment of military surplus boots. Be aware though if they’ve been worn. Some may be worn just once, then returned and are hard to notice any imperfections within the boot lining or inners.

Boot surplus for military seekers can be found just about anywhere. There are combat jungle boots, marine boots that are made for water infiltrations, military jump boots, and desert camo boots made more so for today’s soldiers that are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Military Surplus Boots for the Outdoors man

You can pretty much trust any boot from a military surplus store. The boots the military authorizes these days are proven, time-tested by many, many soldiers. Weather you need to hunt, hike, climb or whatever your pleasure is, you can bet that a good boot from a military surplus location will do the deed.

Military Surplus Boots for the Jungle

Jungle boots seem to be the most popular. Jungle Boots from the Marines are the best in the business. These were designed to hike miles in rough conditions and take on water with an easy ventilation system within the boot. Most are made of leather and synthetic material allowing the person wearing them to have the boot conform to the foot.

Remember, when buying military surplus boots, give them a few weeks, especially when new. Most of these boots are so well built that you’ll want to break them in slowly… something that we couldn’t do while in Boot Camp!

Military Aircraft Surplus is one of my favorite military items to collect. It doesn’t matter if the surplus is from a World War II plane, the Vietnam War, or present day. Military aircraft surplus, especially US and Russian aircraft surplus is the best to find. They hold their value and look a lot nicer than the 3rd world military items.

With military aircraft surplus, you’ll find ammunition and other items of interest. Sometimes you’re able to dig around the aircraft “graveyards” and look for stuff yourself. I’ve found old dusty military log books, flight maps, routes to raids, and more. Some of which I’m sure isn’t supposed to be found. But, look under seats when you’re going through the aircraft, you may be lucky!

What type of Aircraft Surplus

There are many types of surplus when it comes to airplanes. Not only in model, but in mission designation, amphibious, naval, land based. Then the type of plane can be a fighter, bomber, and so on. Here is a short breakdown, not all is available for military aircraft surplus though.

But you’ll find casing’s, shells, expended projectiles, powder cans. The Navy ships have some impressive military weapons surplus. Both the Army and Marines pack some heavy, large surplus items too. Especially coming from the Brigades of today, that pack the heat.

For those of us that were in the Navy, we all enjoy Navy Surplus. It brings us back good memories, and sometimes bad memories. Depending on what type of ship or shore duty we all served at, the recollection can be different in many ways.

We all love to look back on our old uniforms wondering if we should sell them to a Navy surplus store, but hold on to them for memories… at least I do. If you’re from the fleet, from shore command, Special Operations Command, River Rat, LRRP unit, or whatever, you’ll enjoy the Navy Surplus you find at any good surplus store.

Navy Surplus Uniforms

Dungaree’s anyone? Ya right. We all swore those off years ago. Once you leave the fleet and are lucky enough to get shore duty, the dungarees are burned or used as old rags. Boon dockers are another fascinating Naval surplus item. Why the heck would anyone want to buy surplus that has been on someone else foot. Probably from boot camp onward throughout their fleet career.

Navy Surplus isn’t for Everyone

Everyone that gets out of the Navy, whether shore duty, security duty, or oversea’s duty, can breathe that first breath of non-navy air. Meaning they’re free, no more navy duty, no more navy uniforms, no more salt water converted into drinking water.

Navy Weapons in Surplus

Many different small arms used by the Navy, both Special Operations and normal Fleet operators are sold back to Navy Surplus stores across the nation. Depending on what you’re looking for, you can find great deals on various naval weapons, ammunition, and holsters for your new Navy surplus weapons. Some states put restrictions on Navy stores not allowing them to sell various type of high-powered rifles that are used by the Special Operations Groups.

US Army Surplus Stores, we all want them, we all need them. Many of us enjoy receiving gifts that came from any type of surplus items from the Army. US Army is by far the most popular surplus items you’ll come to find in the US stores. But, you often come across foreign military insignia, uniforms, boots, clothing, and more. It just depends on the size and contributions the store receives from the Army. Most veterans enjoy getting an old memory every once in a while and receiving items from the Army sure does that in a heartwarming way.

Boots are Plentiful US Army Surplus Items

You’ll find tons of boots at any good army surplus shopping center. Whether on base at the commissary or off base in a commercial or privately ran store. Boots of all shapes and sizes. The US Army is pretty lenient on what type of boot today’s Army soldier wears. As long as it fits and has good protection, the Army allows it, and surplus Army boots make it into the stores. Foul-weather boots, hiking boots, combat boots, just about any type of Army worn boot is good for various civilian activities.

Army Navy Surplus Stores

Both the Army and Navy Surplus stores will carry over supplies, weapons, gear, clothing, uniforms and more from each branch of the US Military. Don’t think because it’s an Army surplus store that they will just have army supplies. Army Navy surplus stores are real common since in most areas of the US you can’t get enough of just one military branch’s supplies or surplus, so owners usually combined the two stores.

Military Surplus Ammunition is one of the most sought after military surplus around. It doesn’t matter if it’s Navy ammunition, Army ammunition, or Marine Corps ammunition, we all want it, we all need it. The cost savings is usually pretty good compared to large sporting stores and other outdoor and hunting specialty stores. Military surplus ammunition is solid, it has a long history of being reliable, and you can’t beat the cost. Surplus ammunition in general is generally a good deal. It doesn’t matter if it came from the military or a civilian who has made their own, or reloaded their own cartridges.

Army Military Surplus Ammunition

Most Army military ammo has been accounted for, and resold into the civilian sector. Back in the days a soldier getting out of the army could take this and that with him once discharged. This is not the case now as they have cracked down on what you can and cannot take when existing the military or Army. The army ammunition is the best out there though, beating what’s usually available from the Navy and Marines.

What Type of Military Surplus Ammunition

Many types of surplus ammunition comes from military other than the US. Some are in search of very specific ammunition for weapons such as a Carcano M91, Arisaka 38, Mosin-Nagant, K31’s, Winchesters, Springfield, Enfield, SMLE Lee, Ross, and much more. Also, you’ll have to check for bolt action, semi-automatic army rifles, and other fast loaders, belt driven, or gas driven.
