Idaho Falls Zoo in Tautphaus Park

The Idaho Falls Zoo is located in Tautphaus Park, Idaho Falls. It's a great place to take the kids for a fun day at the zoo. This is not the normal small town zoo, it has many variations of vegitation, animals, and scenery. They've done an absolutely great job of the zoo and we are all proud to have the Tautphaus Park Zoo located in our town of Idaho Falls.

There is an area especially for kids to pet and feed the goats. Remember to bring some quarters for the goat food feeders! There is also hand sanitation for the kids to use right outside the feeding area.

The Otters are always fun to watch. You can view them under the water or go above and see them relaxing under the sun after taking a dip in their pool.

Pelican Pier and the little pond is packed full of beautiful ducks and other birds. There is a gigantic pelican that usually hangs out on the rocks. Again, bring some change and you can feed the birds and ducks!

The zoo is open on weekends until Memorial Day. Then, its open every day of the week! We recommend the annual pass for a family, only $65.00!
