Idaho Falls Public Library

The Idaho Falls Public Library, located downtown Idaho Falls, is a wonderful establishment encouraging and promoting reading to and by children. The IFPL junior department is filled with fun and educational reading materials and tools. Including computer's with Internet access, reading stations, children-themed arrangements, and more.

The IFPL also has many learning and educational references and tools for students and community members. There is a great selection of CDs (compact disks), DVDs, VHS, and other multi-media items you can check out. The library's web site allows you the renew and reserve books or items from the library.

The Idaho Falls Library offers many programs for both children and adults. You can also pick up a community workshop class schedule at the entrance of the library. The library is the largest in the area, offering a great selection of national newspapers, books, a Map Room, and many "books on CDs". The kids will enjoy the beautiful fish pond and sand landscaping right in the middle of the library, located on the bottom floor... but, don't touch the fish!

The IPFL hours are Mon - Thurs 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Fri - Sat 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Closed Sundays.
